Alexis Boozer holds a BA in Drama from Stanford University where she won the Evelyn Draper Prize for performance and the Rams Head Theatrical Society Service Award.  The Stanford Daily gave high praise to her portrayal of several characters in The Blue Room.  She has also trained at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival and the San Francisco Acting Academy.  She is a recipient of an Alabama Arts Council Acting scholarship.  She performed in Death and the Maiden and No Exit at Stanford, in London, and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.  She has also appeared on national television and in several independent films including Life Noir, The Bench, and Mei.  Alexis has dance and movement training from Stanford, Montgomery Ballet, Alabama Dance Theatre, and American Conservatory Theater.  She speaks English, Spanish, and Italian.  Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf is her first Mystic Bison production.
